François La Rochefoucauld
Eating is a necessity, but eating intelligently is an art.
Eat well – live well
The art of healthy eating
The fast-paced world that we live in asks a lot of us, and good, healthy food often has to take a back seat. We’ve all been there – whether we’re busy with work or just caught up in life, many struggle to put delicious, healthy meals on the table for themselves and their families. At the end of a hectic day, we just throw something together with little or no thought, and our health often suffers. Concentration levels fall and, all too often, unsightly bulges appear.
On top of all that, we have to consider the likes, dislikes and dietary restrictions of each friend or family member. But who can cook two or three different meals every day?
At the same time, we are all aware that, along with exercise, our bodies need essential nutrients from a wide range of foods to be able to maintain concentration levels at work or at school, and to meet the various other challenges of our daily lives.
A varied and balanced diet is the best way to prevent health problems.
With the right diet you can improve your health, vitality and stamina, leaving you feeling great. You can reach and maintain your ideal weight in a healthy way, and delay and reduce signs of ageing. So a balanced diet in combination with exercise can make a big difference, and when a healthy diet tastes good, following practical advice can even be fun, and I’d like to share that with you.
